How it works

How it is worked out

  • Delivered: sale amount + shipping revenue − shipping charge (incl. GST) − TCS (0.5%) − TDS (0.1%) = bank settlement. This matched to the rupee on 98% of 4.7 million recent delivered orders in OneClickOMS sellers’ payment files.
  • Shipping revenue and shipping charge are Meesho’s own internal figures. The shipping difference (revenue − charge), usually a few rupees, is what shipping really costs you on the order.
  • TCS and TDS are worked out on the revenue without GST. The GST inside the shipping charge is input credit you can claim.
  • Customer return: the sale is reversed and the return shipping charge (incl. GST) is taken, so the settlement is negative.
  • RTO: no Meesho charge in recent payment files, so nothing is paid and nothing is taken.

How is a Meesho settlement calculated?

Meesho adds a shipping revenue to the sale amount and takes off a shipping charge (with GST), both its own internal figures, then 0.5% TCS and 0.1% TDS on the revenue without GST. Meesho charges no commission. TCS and TDS come back to you as tax credits.

Why is the shipping charge more than the shipping revenue?

Both are Meesho’s internal figures, and on most orders the charge is a few rupees higher. Across 2.5 million recent orders of OneClickOMS sellers the median gap was −₹7.43, about 2% of the sale amount, and that gap comes out of your payout.
