Plain, step-by-step answers to the problems that cost sellers money: claims, payments, shipping and more.
Raise the claim within 7 days of the return being delivered to you, from Support in the supplier panel. Upload an unboxing video recorded in one take that shows the sealed packet, the label with AWB and order ID, the barcode, and the packet being opened on camera, plus photos of the product and waybill. Most rejected claims fail on the video, so the recording matters more than anything else.
Read the guide →File the SPF (Seller Protection Fund) claim within 7 days of receiving a damaged or wrong return, from Returns → Completed → Claim SPF in Seller Hub. Flipkart asks for clear photos of the product from all angles, a photo of the shipping label and a short description of the problem; a video is not required. For returns that never reach you, raise a missing claim once 60 days have passed.
Read the guide →Meesho pays an order 7 days after it is delivered (D+7), straight to your bank. If an order is not paid, it is usually because the 7 days are not over, the order came back as an RTO or return, or a deduction (ads, penalty, recovery) took the amount. Match the bank credit to orders by its UTR in the Payments tab, and raise a ticket under Support → Payments & Penalties for anything still missing.
Read the guide →Meesho sets the shipping charge from your product’s weight slab, which comes from the actual or volumetric weight of the packed parcel, so the main levers are a lighter, smaller package, the right weight and category at listing, and disputing wrong weights. It matters because buyers see your price plus shipping: a lower shipping charge makes the same product cheaper in their feed without cutting your margin.
