Meesho payment not received? How to find the missing money
Short answer
Meesho pays an order 7 days after it is delivered (D+7), straight to your bank. If an order is not paid, it is usually because the 7 days are not over, the order came back as an RTO or return, or a deduction (ads, penalty, recovery) took the amount. Match the bank credit to orders by its UTR in the Payments tab, and raise a ticket under Support → Payments & Penalties for anything still missing.
When does Meesho pay a seller?
Meesho’s supplier pages say payment is deposited in your bank account on the 7th day from order delivery, for prepaid and Cash on Delivery orders alike. The clock starts at delivery, not at dispatch. An order delivered on the 1st is paid around the 8th.
Each payout covers many orders at once, so one bank credit (one NEFT with one UTR number) rarely matches a single order. That is why a payment can look missing even when it has arrived inside a bigger credit.
Why a Meesho payment looks missing or short
| What happened | What you see | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| The 7 days are not over | Order is delivered but not in any payout yet | Wait for the next payment date shown in the panel |
| RTO or cancelled at delivery | No payment for the order | Nothing is due; make sure the parcel came back to you |
| Customer return | The order is paid, then reversed in a later payout | Check the return reached you; claim if it is wrong or damaged |
| Ads cost | Payout lower than order value | Meesho ads are deducted from payouts (clicks × CPC + GST) |
| Penalty or recovery | A PENALTY or RECOVERY row reduces the payout | Dispute wrong penalties from the Support section |
| Adjustment with another account | Money moved to a linked account (same PAN) | Look for “Adjustment with other Meesho account” |
| Bank or KYC problem | Payout scheduled but never credited | Check account number, IFSC and that the name matches your PAN and GST |
What Meesho deducts from a payout
Meesho advertises 0% commission, but the payout is still not your selling price. These are the lines that bring it down:
- Returns and RTOs: a customer return reverses the order’s payment; an RTO is never paid.
- Meesho ads: charged per click and taken from your payouts daily, with 18% GST.
- Penalties: for example late-dispatch cancellations; wrong ones can be disputed.
- Recoveries and adjustments: amounts Meesho takes back, including from another account under the same PAN.
- TCS: 0.5% of the net taxable value under GST (since 10 July 2024).
- TDS under section 194-O: 0.1% (since 1 October 2024). Both TCS and TDS can be claimed back in your returns.
How to match a bank credit to your orders
Step 1: Find the UTR
Open your bank statement and copy the UTR (reference number) of the Meesho credit.
Step 2: Search it in the Payments tab
Search by UTR, NEFT, order ID or sub-order ID. The orders inside that credit come up.
Step 3: Download the payment report
Download Payments to Date or Outstanding Payments for the dates you need and compare order by order.
Step 4: List what is still missing
Keep the sub-order IDs that were delivered more than 7 days ago and have no payment row.
How to raise a ticket for a missing Meesho payment
Step 1: Open Support
In the supplier panel go to Support → Payments & Penalties. If your issue is not listed, choose the “Other payment related issues” option.
Step 2: Give the details
Add the sub-order IDs, their delivery dates, the payment date the panel showed, and a bank statement showing no credit.
Step 3: Follow up
Reply on the same ticket instead of opening new ones, and keep the ticket number with the order.
To change your bank account, Meesho asks for the account number, IFSC, account name and a cancelled cheque.
